Microsoft have extended the warranty for the RROD to three years
Currently machines are sent back to Microsoft for repair and the XBOX 360 Red Ring Of Death repair is carried out in the UK. Current turnaround for this repair is currently three to six weeks.
Microsoft have announced that the XBOX 360 will now be repaired in Germany under warranty for all Three Red Light Faults with no news of turnaround times

SYMPTOMS
You see three lights on the Ring of Light (RoL) flash red on the front of your Xbox 360 console. The upper-right quadrant light is the only light that does not flash red.

Some XBOX 360's are beyond repair and failed repairs are non chargeable.
Sometimes the Red Ring of Death errors will also include faults with the drive and or laser

What are X-Clamps?
X-Clamps are metal brackets which hold the Xbox 360 CPU and GPU down tightly onto the motherboard. There are two (2) individual x-clamps within the Xbox 360 which hold down the heat sinks for the CPU and GPU. Since they have been poorly designed the x-clamps bend when introduced to immense heat (if you’ve ever played an Xbox 360 you know it gets hot), and with that bend the Xbox 360 motherboard and break the connection between the GPU (sometimes CPU too) and the motherboard, thus you will have a RROD. Although there are many things that can cause the RROD this is the most common
What Mod do you carry out to the X-Clamp?
We have repaired hundreds of XBOX 360s for RROD and in the early days we used to strip the XBOX 360 down to the main board, re flow the main board and then put the XBOX Back together using the original X-Clamps.
We now replace the X-Clamp with a combination of our own unique AMS X-Clamp Mod and Team Xecutor Heat Sinks. The Heat Sinks sit on the four RAM Chips that are under the main board. As far as repairs to RROD are concerned this upgrade has seen our repair success rate climb.

No Fee if we cannot fix your XBOX 360
Return postage fee of £15.00 will occur if you wish us to post your xBOX 360 back to you
Two Month Warranty is included in the repair fee
If the same fault arises again within the warranty period then you need to bring or delivery the XBOX to our premises and collect or pay for return of the console
We will attempt to repair the XBOX 360 again, however if we cannot then we can not issue refunds for this repair
If we repair the XBOX 360 again then the warranty date remains the same as the original repair
If the XBOX 360 Suffers the same fault again within the warranty period then we are unable to carry out any further repairs on your unit and no refunds can be issued
We are no responsible for loss or damage to games that are left in an XBOX 360 that is sent to us for repair
By sending or bringing your XBOX 360 to us for the RROD Repair you are agreeing that you wish us to continue with the main board re flow without any further inspection or notification, in other words, you send us the XBOX 360 and we will re flow the console, if the fault is cured then you are agreeing to pay the £45.00 repair fee and any postal costs

Order Processing
As soon as the inspection has been carried out, we will contact you with a price of the repair of your XBOX 360. If you decide to go ahead with the repair and you brought the Console to our retail shop you can pay for the repair when you collect. If you posted the Console to us then we will send you a payment link to pay for the repair online at a secure payment site using PayPal or Credit / Debit Card (Nochex) Repairs to the XBOX 360 take approximately 3 – 4 working days once we have your go ahead. Our Warranty starts from the day we inform you that your Games Console is ready for collection or the date we post the Repaired XBOX 360 back to you
